had a few anons asking for tutorials lately and after trying to organise all the random half guides i’ve drawn up over the past few months into one tutorial i’ve just decided to clean up a few and post them separately. So he’s some really basic notes on constructing faces/proportions etc.

the resource for rotating 3D models, everything from 3D scans of human beings, to eroche anatomy sculptures, 3D models anybody can use and move around to reference and learn from! this is how you’re REALLY supposed to learn, if you don’t have a model to observe in real life this is as good as you’ll get!
some of them are really high resolution, it’s fantastic! 3D scans of people is a good tag to start with but you can go check out anything!

the struggle is real
Tiniest foot tutorial. Can add toes or just have shoe. Is good. Have day.
on a whim I decided I’d put this together, because it’s a fun trick ive picked up from using the same version of SAI for years
this is in NO way an acceptable substitute for learning how to paint gold, btw. it’s also most effective when drawing thin lines, like accents, or lettering
i think this technique is best when used sparingly, but you do you
