I still don’t understand why this movie in particular became famous worldwide.
Because we can relate to it so much. Because it shows awesome tiny things in our daily life. Because Amélie is such a sweet girl. Because Paris.
But we have like…thousands of movies like that? It was a nice movie, but I didn’t see people in France freaking about it like they’re doing in other countries. You’re right about Paris though. For the world, France is just a big Paris. -_-
Are you kidding ? This movie was huge when it went out ! (I’m not sure this is the verb you use about movies, but whatev’). Everybody freaked about it. Well, almost 8 millions people (this is huge !). The only difference is that we’re all “meh” now about it. But, we’re French : we always go “meh” after went “whoa”.
