What’s in Dishonored 2 trailer?

carvedwhalebones:

  • Harvey stated it takes place in  Karnaca, Serkonos
  • Harvey stated Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano are both characters you can play
  • There is some sort of disease/virus/mutation occurring in Serkonos. 
  • Graffiti on the wall stating for the Duke’s death. Possibly Emily’s target. 
  • Emily has Void-based powers. Has something similar to Blink in which she reaches out for a building, latches onto it and is pulled up. Is also able of grabbing and throwing.
  • “What will you do with the powers I have given you?” - Outsider // Emily received her gifts from The Outsider, not through Corvo. 
  • Sokolov’s portrait hanging in the background. Whoever the target is, if it is the Duke, has possible close relations to Sokolov. Or maybe a huge admirer. Obviously seems like the brains behind these machines lingering about and the technical genius within the room opening up.
  • Emily’ left hand is bandaged up. It’s hiding the Outsider’s mark that illuminates when used.
  • Can stop time and is using Corvo’s blade.
  • Outsider picks up Corvo’s mask in the end.

im so happy about bethesda featuring a female protagonist in their dishonored 2 trailer but seeing everyone’s excited reaction is also indicative of how starved the gaming industry is for not only female protagonists but marketing showing you can play as a female protagonist
