#yes thank you #for the angels #obedience is the safe choice #free will has brought them nothing but pain #so is it really surprising that so many of them don’t trust it #or are unsure what to do with it #and still ask for orders #still ask what the divine plan is #even when they have been told that they don’t have to follow it anymore #free will is terrifying #it’s traumatizing when you watched it do to your brother what it did to theirs #both lucifer and castiel #but that doesn’t mean that they’re not capable of it #that they can’t make their own choices #that they have never made their own choices before #just usually within the scope of their orders #exact same thing with emotions while we’re at it #there is a difference between surppressed and non existant #the only thing they may still need to learn is not to be afraid of them anymore #and that is something they can only learn from each other
